Snowboarding is a very popular sport which is done mainly during the winter months in snowcapped mountains. Everyone knows that the higher you get the cooler it becomes. So, as snowboarding takes place in mountainous areas it is bound to be very cold there. The temperature is quite low in the mountains and the weather becomes very cold. Therefore, before going up there, all excited about snowboarding, remember that the temperature there will be absolutely freezing. So, you have to choose your clothing in such a way that you are warm and comfortable even in that cold temperature.

Many riders who go for snowboarding for the first time generally underestimate the weather. So, they go for snowboarding very scantily dressed. They go up in the mountains in a light pair of clothes and snowboard jacket thinking that these would be enough to keep the cold out. But what is the result of all this? When they reach the mountains for snowboarding they freeze! They become so cold that they cannot take part in the sport at all; even if they gather all their courage and start they cannot finish it because their body parts start to become numb.

So, in order to beat the cold you should wear warm layers of clothes. But, they should be stretchable and light weight so that you can move about comfortably. You need to make a lot of movements in any sport so you should always wear comfortable clothes. You should also protect your head with a helmet; protect your eyes from the UV rays of the sun with goggles and your hands from becoming numb with gloves or mittens. You should also wear the right kinds of shoes, and not just step into the first pair that you find or your favorite mizuno running shoes. Choose a pair according to the activity.
